Our goal was to create a travel hub that addresses key pain points in current travel organisations and the booking process as a whole. Firstly, there was friction when it came to efficiently finding information to plan a trip. Users had a destination in mind and would reach out to third party platforms to find flights, car rentals, experiences and accommodation.
Because users had to use multiple platforms to arrange a single trip, this affected people’s ability to manage budget and trip cost, which created a disjointed itinerary spread across multiple platforms.
We strived to build an online ecosystem to incorporate these bookings as well as allowing users to advertise their own property and experiences for purchase on the platform. We also wanted to address organisational features to help users stay on top of their plans, such as itinerary, wish-lists and chat functionality with other travellers and providers.
We also determined features that would help with the organisation process. We explored various iteration in the wireframes stage and ultimately a platform that was user-friendly, consolidated and allowed people to save time and effort when planning their ideal holiday.
